I qualified from Kings College London School of Dentistry in 2006. I completed a Senior House Officer (SHO) year at Guys and Kings College Hospitals. This year, I worked in the Paediatric, Acute Dentistry and Oral Surgery Departments.
After this year, I was employed by Kings College Hospital working as a Clinical Fellow in Oral Surgery. This year was a very enjoyable one, in which I carried out complex surgical procedures under IV sedation. I also taught the undergraduate students and marked them on their clinical competencies.
I then embarked on my practice career.
Dental Implants have always interested me, combining dentistry’s surgical and restorative sides. I have embarked on many years of courses and formalised my training by achieving a Post Graduate Diploma in Dental Implants—part of the diploma involved working with a renowned Harley Street Implant Dentist on complex implant cases.
Having placed over 1000 implants since 2010, I am aware of the complexity and skills involved. I am lucky enough to follow up on most of my cases, with a personal success rate of over 95%.
The dental implant cases I perform range from single-tooth implants to complex procedures such as sinus lifts and teeth-in-day (“All on 4”) procedures.
I am also interested in complex dental rehabilitations on patients with very worn or broken down teeth.
My treatment is simple: it is as if they were a family member. I will only do a treatment on a patient and carry it out on a member of my own family.
Outside of work, I enjoy working out, travelling, and training for the odd triathlon!
Having qualified from the prestigious Royal London School of Dentistry in 2006, I have dedicated myself to maintaining high dentistry standards and love exploring promising new technologies to deliver the best results possible.
I am passionate about minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry through simple orthodontics and Bioclear bonding. What does this mean, you may ask? This process looks to produce a beautiful smile whilst avoiding damaging teeth.
This represents a paradigm shift from the traditional approach of veneers and crowns. While veneers (and crowns) commit you to a literal lifetime of their replacement and maintenance, this new approach of minimally invasive dentistry favours using bonding and short-term orthodontics (such as Invisalign), if needed, resulting in a new smile that often leaves your teeth untouched by a drill.
I completed my dental qualifications in 2009 at the University of Sheffield. Subsequently, I spent two years gaining specialized experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge and Queen’s Hospital in North East London. I am particularly interested in oral surgery and highly skilled at tooth extractions.
I am also interested in Invisalign clear braces, tooth whitening and composite (white fillings).
Having returned to practice in the area where I grew up, I am dedicated to serving the local community. My gentle and welcoming demeanour is well-received by children and families alike.
I graduated in dentistry from the University of Oslo, Norway, in 1997.
I enjoy interacting with my patients and helping them meet their dental goals.
For over 25 years, I’ve provided my patients with a gentle and comfortable experience and helped them overcome their dental fears and anxieties through compassion.
I greatly respect my profession, so I am taking continuing education courses and applying the advances in dentistry.
One of my interests is cosmetic dentistry, which utilises veneers and crowns to achieve aesthetic results!
Outside of practice, I enjoy going to the gym, travelling and spending time with my family.
I qualified as a Dental Hygienist & Therapist from King’s College Hospital after being awarded ‘The Best Student in Clinical Hygiene’ in 2017.
After receiving dental work at a young age, I understand the importance of creating a positive and relaxed environment when undergoing dental treatment. I have a calm, caring and friendly personality, which means I am very well-suited to treating patients who may be nervous about their appointments. Seeing my patients become more confident at each visit is truly rewarding.
I strive to ensure all aspects of my clinical work are thorough and completed to the highest standard whilst also being comfortable for my patients. Ensuring my patients have a pain-free appointment through my gentle technique and caring chair-side manner is something I aim to achieve for every patient I see.
Since qualifying, I have carried out further studies allowing me to provide teeth whitening. I am incredibly passionate about providing tailored advice to each of my patients, enabling them to improve their oral health at home in combination with Periodontal treatment.
In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family. I recently had my first baby, so I enjoy being a first-time mum and watching him grow and learn new things. I also enjoy long walks and shopping.
I qualified as a Dental Hygienist from Guys, Kings and St. Thomas’ Hospital in 2004.
I have a wealth of experience working with patients to improve their oral care and helping to prevent gum disease.
My friendly and calming manner makes me an excellent choice for nervous patients.
Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, running, and spending time with my young family.
